What Makes a Daniels Scholar?
To be a Daniels Scholar, you should demonstrate:
- Resilience and Integrity: Show us how you overcome challenges with integrity.
- Leadership Skills: Are you someone who inspires and leads by example?

- Academic Ambition: We value strong academic performance and potential.
- Well-roundedness: Embrace diverse interests and a balanced lifestyle.
- Emotional Maturity: Stability and maturity are key in handling life’s challenges.
Are You Eligible?
To apply, make sure you meet these criteria:
- Geography: Be a resident of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming.
- Academic Standing: A graduating high school senior with at least a 3.0 GPA.
- Testing: Meet minimum SAT or ACT score requirements.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Financial Need: Show a financial need with an AGI of $100,000 or less on your family’s tax return.
Benefits of the Scholarship
- Full Coverage: We cover the full cost of attendance at partner schools within our four-state region.
- Generous Stipend: Receive up to $25,000 per year at eligible institutions outside our partner network.
- Extra Perks: Scholars receive a new laptop and continuous support from the Daniels Fund.
How to Apply

- Documentation: Prepare your transcripts, test scores, and proof of financial need.
