IEG Fellowships for Doctoral Students 2024
Are you a PhD student looking for support and guidance on your research journey? The IEG Fellowships for Doctoral Students provide financial help and the perfect environment to focus on your dissertation. Dive into this opportunity to boost your academic work and make significant progress!
Why Consider the IEG Fellowship?
The IEG, independent of university structures, allows you to focus solely on your dissertation without the distraction of coursework or teaching duties. You will continue to work under the supervision of your doctoral advisor at your home university but in the nurturing environment that IEG provides.
Who’s Eligible?
The fellowship is open to PhD students globally, provided you’ve completed a Master’s degree and are within the first three years of your doctoral studies.
If you’ve been in your PhD program longer, you might still be eligible with a convincing justification.
What Does the Fellowship Offer?
You’ll receive a monthly stipend of €1,350. If you’re moving to Mainz with your family, there are additional allowances available for partners earning less than 450 euros per month and for children, making your transition smoother.
