McDonald Fellowships 2024 by MS International Federation
Attention all new researchers in the field of multiple sclerosis (MS)! If you’re from a low- or middle-income country and are looking to propel your career forward, the McDonald Fellowship offers a golden opportunity. Here’s everything you need to know to get started on this exciting journey.
The McDonald Fellowship supports early career researchers, helping you work at a top research institution abroad for up to two years. It’s a chance to enhance your skills, engage in significant MS research, and build international networks.
You’ll receive about £30,000 annually to cover travel and living expenses, plus an extra £2,000 each year for your host institution. This funding also helps you attend the prestigious annual ECTRIMS congress (https://www.msif.org/news/2016/06/21/ectrims-support-for-joint-mcdonald-fellowship/), a key event for anyone in the MS research field.
