1# University of Stavanger Scholarships:

The University of Stavanger’s business school is offering scholarships for Ph.D. in the field of marketing. The Ph.D. entails four complete years of research in marketing. The Ph.D. candidates will be free to research on their own with a focus on Marketing Innovation-Platforms.

The University of Stavanger has currently 11,000 students enrolled in it with about 1,600 employees. The scholarship pays around 436,900 NOK per year which is equivalent to 45,500 EUR. The competition for this fellowship is pretty tough and the applicants are expected to have a long list (up to 15) of publications to secure admission.

2#BI Norwegian Business School Scholarships:

BI Norwegian Business School is calling out for applications from international and local students for its diploma-level program in business administration. This program offers one scholarship every year which covers 100% of the tuition fees of the awardee. The value of the scholarship is NOK 240,000. 

BI Norwegian Business School is the second-largest business school in Europe and the largest of Norway. It has four campuses with the main campus located in Oslo. Those international students whose primary language is not English are required to prove their language proficiency via submitting satisfactory scores of TOEFL. 

In order to keep the scholarship for the second and third year, students have to maintain a certain level of academic record, otherwise, their funding will be terminated. Since the scholarship is awarded to only one student per year, it is highly competitive.

3# The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) Scholarships:

The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is offering its postgraduate and master’s programs free of cost. It does not charge any tuition fee from its students and the programs are taught in English. The tuition fee waiver applies to all the courses offered by the university but the students must be self-sufficient enough to pay their living expenses.

In case, they do not have enough finances to sustain life in Norway, they will not be granted a student visa. The applicant must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and they may be required to prove their language proficiency via IELTS/TOEFL. The results of these tests must not be older than two years.

4# University of Oslo Scholarships:

The University of Oslo is offering scholarships to students from certain countries at its International Summer School (ISS). These scholarships will be provided at under and postgraduate levels to students from Africa, Oceania, Asia, South America, Central America, Caucasus and Balkans, EU and EEA countries, Canada, USA, and the countries which were previously a part of the Soviet Union.

The applicants should read the scholarship requirements thoroughly to make sure that they are meeting the specified academic criteria. They also have to submit the language proficiency test scores. The number of awards for ISS scholarships is limited and the competition is pretty tough.

5# Nord University Postdoctoral Fellowship:

Nord University’s Postdoctoral Fellowships are being offered in the field of Molecular Ecology. The duration of the fellowship is two years within which the candidates are supposed to research Population genomics in the North Atlantic and Arctic oceans. It is awarded at the Department of Biosciences and Aquaculture and the applicants who know a Scandinavian language alongside the English Language will be given preference. They will be given a salary of 515,200 NOK per year.

The applicants should have a doctoral degree in any one of the relevant disciplines of ecology and should be experienced in population genetics, molecular biology, zooplankton, bioinformatics, and next-generation sequencing. Only one international scholarship is awarded each year so the candidates must be highly efficient in their fields.

6# Oslo Metropolitan University Scholarships:

Oslo Metropolitan University, also known as OsloMet is inviting applications for its Ph.D. program in computer science. This program is fully funded and only two students are accepted every year. It is open to international students. The candidates will be researching artificial neural networks, biological neural networks, Nanomagnetic systems, and self-organizing computers.

They will be given a salary of around NOK 450,000. In order to secure admission, the applicants need to have a high academic standing in their master’s, should have fluency in written and spoken English, and should have experience in artificial intelligence, Python, complex systems, mainstream programming languages, bio-inspired methods, machine learning frameworks, etc.

7# Norwegian University of Life Sciences:

Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) is calling out for applications for its Ph.D. program in Robotic Grasping and Manipulation.  International students are welcome to apply. The applicants should possess impressive academic records in a relevant field like Robotics, Engineering Cybernetics, or computer science.

They should also have knowledge and experience in Python, C++, ROS, robotic systems, HMI, mathematical modeling algorithms, statistical methods, machine learning, etc. they will be given competitive salaries and will be able to work under highly efficient research networks.
