1# Educational requirements:

2# Age requirements:

3# Language requirements:

The applicant must be fluent in the English language. Multilingual candidates (with knowledge of Arabic, French, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese) would be desirable.

4# Technical skills:

Technical skills such as computing knowledge or electrical engineering would be beneficial for the applicants. 

Method to Apply to the World Bank Internship 2023

Even though the World Bank Internship Program is a highly competitive program, the process of applying to it is not a tedious one, nor does it require any lengthy documentation. You can apply to the World Bank Internship program by following the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Register for an account on the Word Bank Careers page:-

Create an account by using either Google Chrome, Apple Safari or Internet Explorer 10, or any higher version with a high-speed internet connection at the World Bank Careers page (Link given at the end of the article).

Upon registration, you will be asked to enter your email address. Enter a functioning one as it will be your main source of communication with the internship panel.

Step 2: Fill out the World Bank Internships application form:-

Fill out all the portions of the application form in a single seating within 90 minutes. It would require you to enter your complete phone number, country code, city code, and answers to some general questions.

Step 3: Upload your documents:-

The next step is to upload your documents (list given below) in a PDF version.

Step 4: Submit your application:-

Recheck your application and submit it. Applications once submitted cannot be modified. Once you have submitted your online application, you will receive a confirmation mail in which you will find your application number.

The World Bank opens its web portal for accepting online applications for its internship program twice a year- in the summers and winters. Even though the duration of internships varies each year, they are a minimum of 4 weeks.

  • Summer Internships (May–September): The application period is December 1–January 31 each year.
  • Winter Internship (November–March): The application period is October to November each year.
