Acceptance rate: SFU has a 59 percent acceptance rate, so admission to this university is pretty straightforward, but you must be prepared to not be among the other 41 percent of unaccepted students.

Application Fee: $90 for local students and $125 for foreign students, payable by MasterCard or Visa.

Scholarships: There are several Canadian scholarships available, including the University Women’s Club of Vancouver Scholarship, the Chung Family Undergraduate Scholarship, the Joe and Mary Merchant Scholarship, the Linda Brideau Memorial Scholarship, and the Dueck Auto Group President’s Scholarship.

2# York University Scholarships

Admissions at York University are currently available for a range of disciplines such as Accounting and Finance, Aeronautics, Agriculture, Anatomy, Physiology, Anthropology, Archaeology, Architecture, and Art, among others.

Language requirements: At York University, English is the primary medium of teaching. TOEFL, IELTS, Pearson PTE Academic, Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL), Cambridge English Language Assessment (CAE, CPE), C1 Advanced, Duolingo, and other language examinations are available, as are French courses.

Acceptance rate: York University Toronto has an average admission rate of 27%. Consequently, getting in is incredibly difficult. That is, out of a total of 206,297 candidates, 55,700 were accepted.

Application fee: After submitting your application form, you must make a non-refundable payment of $130 CDN using Visa, Visa Debit, or Mastercard.

3# University of Victoria Scholarships

Admissions to the University of Victoria, which is also ranked among the top 300 institutions in the world in the arts and humanities, engineering, computer science, and biological sciences, are currently open.

Language requirements: To attend UVic, all candidates must demonstrate English language competency. Acceptable CAEL, IELTS, LPI, MELAB, or TOEFL exam scores can be used to show English language competency.

Application fee: It is $126.50 (or $162.25 if any post-secondary transcripts are from universities outside of Canada) and non-refundable.

Acceptance rate: It is estimated that the acceptance rate to the University for all students is about 64%.

Scholarships: The Canadian Scholarships of the Victoria Universities includes the Aga Khan Academy Renewable Scholarship, the East China Normal University Renewable Scholarship, International Entrance Scholarships, International IB Scholarships, and International Student Support, Nelson Family Award, President’s Vietnam Scholarship, Vikes International Athlete Award, International Bursaries, etc that you may avail in the year 2022-2023.

4# Laval University Scholarships

This year, University Laval has opened its doors to candidates, offering a diverse range of courses ranging from medical, administration, and law to engineering, arts, and music.

Language requirements: Because French is the language of practice, students must complete any proficiency test, primarily TEF, but also DELF, TFI, or TEF, or possess any diploma/degree studied in French.

Admission rate: It is expected that Laval University has a 59 percent acceptance rate. So, if you did well at your prior institutions, you have a very good chance of being accepted.

Application fee: For new candidates who have never attended Université Laval, the application cost is C$92.50.

Scholarships: Laval University offers Canadian Scholarships which are; the International Postgraduate Admission Scholarship, the Pierre Borgeat Fund Fellowship, Hector-Saint-Gelais master’s recruiting scholarships, and the Laval Master’s Recruitment Scholarship, ULaval access grant, Marcel-Adams Fellowship, François-Lasnier Fund Scholarship, etc. 

5# Ryerson University Scholarships

Accounting, medical, business, engineering, art music, and more degrees are available at Ryerson University. Admissions are also being accepted for the academic year 2022-2023.

English language requirements: English is the medium of teaching at Ryerson University. You need to have a sufficient IELTS score or other English language exam results such as Cambridge Assessment English Score, TOEFL, PTE, CAEL, and so on.

Admission rate: Ryerson University undergraduate and postgraduate courses have an acceptance rate of 80%.

Application fee: The application price is around $105 or $110.

Language requirements: Because English is the primary medium of teaching. Advanced Level of the English Language Certificate Program (ELCP), Cambridge English tests, Canadian Academic English (CAEL), Duolingo English Test, International English Language Testing Systems (IELTS – Academic), Pearson Test of English (PTE), Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), and other tests are available to demonstrate your proficiency.

Acceptance rate: While enrolling students from all over the world, the University of Guelph is relatively selective. It has a 70–80 percent admittance rate.

application fee: A CDN$40 application fee is required. 

scholarships: There are several admission and in-course Canadian scholarships available for Canadian and foreign students ranging from $17,500 to $20,500 at the University of Guelph. These scholarships are given to pupils on the basis of both merit and need. 

7# Concordia University Scholarships

8# University de Sherbrooke Scholarships

It is a fantastic institute that offers numerous courses such as Law, Education, Engineering, Arts and Humanities, Medicine and Health Sciences, Science, Human Rights, and so on, and applications for this year are currently open.

Language requirements: Applicants must demonstrate competence in French. Most programs need at least FLS 060 and FLS 083-084, or level C1 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages test, for entrance.

Acceptance Rate: The University of Sherbrooke has a 68 percent acceptance rate. 

The application fee: The application price is 90 CAD, payable by Visa, Mastercard, cheque (Canadian Bank only), or money order.

Scholarships: The Canadian Scholarships at the University de Sherbrooke includes; royal Society International Exchange Program, the Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship Program, the NEADS National Student Awards in Canada, and the IAL Research Grants for Doctoral Studies, and Bachelors grants are available.

9# Brock University Scholarships
