The Universities in Greece started inviting online applications for the fully-funded Greece Scholarships 2023-2024 from all international students of different disciplines.

List of Scholarships in Greece

#1 ALBA Graduate Business School Scholarship:

ALBA Graduate Business School offers Chris Argyris Scholarships in Organization Behavior for its Master’s in Strategic Human Resource management. This scholarship is open for international students and covers half of the tuition fee. Candidates need to hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and prove their language proficiency. They can also submit the scores of GRE or GMAT to strengthen their application. The university reserves the right to conditionally accept students with a weak academic record. They will be required to submit their GRE (152 or above) or GMAT (500 or above) scores to confirm their place in the MSc HRM program.

ALBA Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece is a private business school in Athens, Greece, and is known for its competent faculty, diverse programs, and amazing scholarship grants. This particular scholarship is given to 2 international students every year.

#2 The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens:

The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens is offering about six scholarships in the fields of Archaeology, History, and Literature of Ancient Greece. These scholarships are awarded to fund the studies of the first year of bachelor’s and are given in the form of a single payment of 10,000 EUR. The students can spend this grant in supporting their tuition or living expenses, but they will be obligated to pay all other expenses like accommodation expenses, bank charges, travel expenses, etc. 

This grant is given to the students who are under 27 years old, have a non-Greek passport, have completed a high school education with a score of 90% or above, and haven’t studied any undergraduate course before. It covers partial expenses for the first year but can also be availed in the subsequent years if the students have a high standing in the previous years of their undergraduate studies.

#3 Aristotle University Scholarships;

The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki offers many scholarships to the following students:

    • International students and residents who are not of the Greek Descent are given scholarships at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
    • Students studying in universities abroad are given a chance to study at the School of Modern Greek Language in the summer. This grant is also available to the foreign nationals (of Greek descent) from Albania, Moldova, Romania, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.
    • Foreign postgraduates and researchers are invited to conduct three-month research in the fields of Humanities, Philosophy, Law, Economic & Political Sciences, Education, Arts, and Architecture.

#4 Fulbright Scholarship Program for Greece:

Fulbright scholarships offer the awardees, the opportunity to study or research in prestigious Greek universities and research institutions. Fulbright scholarship grantees get the opportunity to get unmatched financial support during and after their term of the scholarship. It is awarded in many subject areas like Science, technology, finance, business, social sciences, humanities, education, media, etc.

#5 Fulbright Scholarship to study in the USA for Greece National Students:

About 7 scholarships are given to US scholars in the fields of humanities, arts, social sciences, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The grant is offered for up to 4 months and the grantees will get a monthly allowance (of about 2,100 USD), setting allowance (1,200 USD), airfare, research material allowance, language lesson allowance, tuition assistance, etc.

#6 Research Scholarship to Graduate Students:

This six-month research grant is offered to about 7 of the recent university or college graduates who have the potential to conduct independent research studies in Greece. The applications are being accepted in the fields of Greek studies, social sciences, education, public administration, arts, and business.

#7 Fulbright Scholarship for Turkey and Bulgaria:

This scholarship is given to one student every year (one from Turkey and one from Bulgaria) in several fields of master’s and Ph.D. It offers the grantees a chance to get involved in nine-month research conducted in Greece (grantees from Turkey will spend at least 4 months in Turkey and 4 months in Greece and the grantees from Bulgaria will spend an equal amount of time in Bulgaria and Greece as well).

This scholarship is awarded in the fields of Classical Byzantine, Ottoman studies, history, archaeology, arts, eco- and agro-tourism, social sciences, etc.

#8 ACT Scholarships:

The American College of Thessaloniki (ACT) offers a number of scholarships to foreign students every year. 

Study Abroad Merit Scholarship of worth $1,000 is awarded to students who are in their sophomore year at ACT and have managed to achieve a CGPA of 3.6 out of 4. The grant contributes to the reduction in tuition fees.

Hellenic-American Scholarship is given to meritorious students and covers half of their tuition fees. It does not cover the cost of living, insurance expenses, or field trips’ charges. There are a lot of facilities and co-curricular activities available at ACT which the grantees can benefit from such as, study trips to Athens, Vergina and Delphi, shuttle bus service, free Wi-Fi, ACT guest lectures and workshops, orientations, medical support, access to technology and IT infrastructure, etc.

#9 TEI of Epirus, Arta, Greece:

TEI of Epirus, Arta, Greece is offering Marie Sklodowska Curie Early Stage Ph.D. scholarship in the fields of Biological Sciences and Biological Engineering. The candidates must have a master’s degree in one of the following fields:

    • Biomaterials
    • Tissue Engineering
    • Cell Biology
    • Biomedical Engineering
    • Veterinary Medicine
    • Musculoskeletal Biology and similar fields

The scholarship is awarded for three years (maximum) and the awardees must possess extensive research experience. It is open for a number of nationalities and covers the salary of the applicants.
