- Demonstration of performance and presentation skills.
- Expression of financial needs.
- Experience in taking part in cultural services.
- Non-US students should not be eligible to receive federal financial assistance.
- Students are eligible for admission to the University of Oregon or at least fulfilling the admission criteria of the university.

Usually, the deadline for applying to the Western Oregon University scholarship program is March 1, 2023. However, it may change subject to extraordinary circumstances. All international students can apply for this scholarship program through their official website.
