#1 Royal Roads University (No Application Fees – IELTS Exempted Conditional)

The Royal Roads University is a public university located in the westernmost province, British Columbia. The application procedure is free of cost for both local and international students and also is valid for all degrees; undergraduate, graduate, and diplomas. 

The application process is mainly online and can be accessed through their website. For international students, however, it should be started at least six months prior so that a study permit can be issued if their application is accepted.

It is an easily accessible institution with an acceptance rate of about 60% and 550 international students currently enrolled in various programs at the campus. 

#2 University of Alberta (No Application Fees – IELTS Exempted Conditional)

It is situated in Edmonton, a city in the extreme north of Canada but with a very stable and flourishing economy. The campuses are highly facilitated and graduating students maintain a very high induction or job employment rate. As per their alumni, they do not remember a time they were bored at the campus. University of Alberta scholarships are also open for online applications.

Although they do not have an application fee for the undergraduate degrees, they do charge 100 CAD for the graduate applications but they waive that off too if you come from an underdeveloped country.

This university has an acceptance rate of 58% demonstrating its accessibility for international students. 

#3 Tyndale University (No Application Fees – IELTS Exempted Conditional)

This university holds immense historical importance as it is approximately 125 years old, more than a century. Tyndale university, a religious institution, located in the famous city of Toronto offers a wide range of programs inculcating a variety of disciplines at the undergraduate, seminary, and graduate levels.

The institution does not charge you for an application fee but at the graduate and postgraduate level, the university only awards 3 applicants with this leniency.

The acceptance ratio of Tyndale University is 57%. Out of 428 applicants that applied for the undergraduate program last year 256 were accepted.

#4 University of British Columbia (No Application Fees – IELTS Exempted Conditional)

It is a public university located in Vancouver with an immensely exhilarating campus life that keeps you alive throughout your hectic degree. It is ranked as 45th in the world, whereas 3rd in Canada by QS World Rankings in recently. The university’s immense commitment to nature is highly reflected in the new campuses that are built. British Columbia Scholarships are also available to international students.

Although the university does not offer a concession on application fees for every applicant but completely waives off fees for applicants applying from the world’s 50 least developed countries that are specified by the United Nations, international or domestic students applying to graduate in the Department of Chemistry, and British Columbia residents who are Canadian citizens or permanent citizens over the age of 65. 

Admission Acceptance Rate of British Columbia University: 52.4% 

It has approximately the same acceptance rate as the previous two quoted of about 52.4%. 

#5 Quest University (No Application Fees – IELTS Exempted Conditional)

It is a non-profit university specializing in liberal arts and science situated in Squamish, British Columbia, Canada. The university, however, is small and takes in not more than 600 students every year. It does not have an application fee for both undergraduate and graduate programs facilitating both local as well as international students only if you apply within the deadline. 

Admission Acceptance Rate of Quest University is: 80%

Quest university has a very high acceptance rate of 80% which makes it a feasible choice for applicants. 

#6 Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) (No Application Fees – IELTS Exempted Conditional)

Another university with hardly any application fee is FDU ranked 44 in the north by US News and Report and aims conventionally at personal attention and individual growth that makes it unique and differentiates it from other universities.

The student-to-faculty ratio is 12:1 and ensures productivity at the individual level. The application fee for both local as well as international students is just $50 which is very little or maybe can be referred to as negligible compared to other institutions having insanely high application fees. Hence, all in all, it is not at all a bad bargain and should be considered when looking for career opportunities. 

Admission Acceptance Rate of Fairleigh Dickinson University: 88.9% 

The university of Fairleigh Dickinson has an even higher acceptance rate than quest university of 88.9%. 

#7 Booth University College (No Application Fees – IELTS Exempted Conditional)

It is a private Christian liberal arts university located in downtown Winnipeg and is also an addition to the list of universities that do not require an application fee from its applicants only from Canada and the US. Sometimes, after you are through with the application process, they require 500 CAD to confirm your admission slot and hence the tuition fee that follows.

Admission Acceptance Rate of Booth University: 22% 

Booth university has a very low acceptance rate of 22% and is probably hard to get admission here. 

#8 Redeemer University (No Application Fees – IELTS Exempted Conditional)

This university is situated in Ontario, Canada. It does not charge any application fee from its applicants if applied within the specified deadline but since it is a religious university it combines religion and education in its curriculum. 

Admission Acceptance Rate of Redeemer University: 50-60%

Redeemer has an average rate of 50-60% and thus makes it a good choice.
