How to Apply?

The application process for IU is simple and easy! You can go to IU’s website and open the application form. Study the form so you don’t miss out on anything, and then select your study program.

You can even opt for the starting date as per your choice and convenience. Your second step will be to upload all necessary documents. It should take about 15 to 20 minutes to get done with this.

Once you send your application, IU will send you a non-binding study contract for your signatures. Then, you can expect to hear from IU’s study counselor to talk about your eligibility and program choice.

In case you are not eligible, your study contract will terminate and no application fees will be charged. If you are eligible, the counselor will approve you. On the commencement date of your program, you will receive an email about your log-in details and begin learning.

Eligibility Criteria:

For you to meet your admission mandates, you will choose your study program first, because requirements are different for each program. 

Some programs call for prior work experience, while others call for a secondary school diploma or a prior degree in a field that is relevant.

General Entry Requirements:

Bachelors

  • A general secondary school diploma or​ 
  • a subject-related higher education entrance qualification 

To ensure you are prepared to study at IU, you may be required to take one of the following courses, based on your program of choice, academic standing, and background:

  • Bachelor Entrance Examination (included in Scholarship Programme) 
  • Pathway Programme (for on-campus studies)

Masters

A degree that has been earned from a public or legally recognized university or higher education institution*.

You must already have 240 ECTS credits to be eligible for 60-ECTS programs.

You must have 180 ECTS credits to enroll in 120-ECTS programs.

At the very least, you should have received a “satisfactory” or Grade C in your previous studies.

What Documents Are Required?

The following documentation is required to register for your online study program at IU International University of Applied Sciences:

  • Your study contract 
  • A copy of your secondary school diploma, or its equivalent, with a general or subject-specific focus, or its equivalent
  • A resume in tabular form that details your training, degrees, and employment
  • A duplicate of your official photo ID
  • The TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, Cambridge Certificate, or other comparable proof must have been obtained no more than two years before the start of studies.

Language Requirements to Apply for Admissions at IU:

To ready you for the global market, IU teaches in English. So you must provide evidence of your English language proficiency. You do not need to provide proof of your English proficiency if you are a native English speaker or if you attended or graduated from an English-speaking college or university. 

You can go for one of the following tests as proof: 

  • B2.2 Certificate from Speexx (complimentary when signing up with IU)
  • IELTS (minimum Level 6)
  • TOEFL (minimum 80 points)
  • Duolingo English Test (minimum 95 points)
  • Cambridge Certificate (minimum Grade B) or equivalent documentation

Your proof must be offered before the study begins and cannot be more than five years old.
