#1 Chevening Scholarships

The Chevening international scholarships provided by the UK Government for helping students to study in the UK. These scholarships are fully funded and aim to support students to pursue a one-year Master’s Degree in any university in the UK. Students from Chevening eligible countries can apply for the scholarship if they have fulfilled all the criteria for their Bachelor’s Degree and have at least two years of work experience. The scholarship covers flights, accommodation, and course fees so that students have peace of mind while pursuing their degrees. #2 The Gordon Memorial College Trust Fund Scholarships

The Gordon Memorial College Trust Fund was established to promote educational development in Sudan and South Sudan. The scholarships provided by this fund are meant for students who wish to pursue postgraduate studies in the UK and intend to return to Sudan after completion of their degree. The scholarships/grants cover course fees as well as accommodation and food expenses and academic expenses in some cases. They are provided for only one year at a time. #3 ICCR Scholarships for Sudanese

Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) of the Government of India provides 27 scholarships for Sudanese students. These are provided every year for undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in Indian Universities and Institutions. #4 Windle Trust International Scholarship

Windle Trust provides scholarships for postgraduate degrees in partnership with universities in the UK. These scholarships are provided to young people who can apply their professional skills in African Communities suffering from the effects of war. The scholarships cover tuition fees, airfare, and stipend for upkeep. In addition to this, students enrolled in the program can take advantage of pre-university orientation, leadership training programs, and themed conferences. #5 David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarships for African Students 

The foundation provides scholarships for people who have demonstrated leadership abilities by working in communities. Residents of African countries are provided with a full scholarship to study at Covenant and Landmark University, Nigeria. There are a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and secondary programs covered under this scholarship scheme. The scholarship is awarded for a maximum of 5 years but can vary depending on the stipulated time for course completion. #6 Physical Environmental Centre of Khartoum (PECK) Scholarships

These scholarships are for Sudanese students studying at The University of Nottingham, School of Oriental and African Studies of the University of London and the University of Reading. Basically, the scholarships aim to support students from leading Sudanese universities to pursue postgraduate education in the UK particularly in engineering. #7 South Sudan Bursary

This is awarded every year to students from the South Sudan region wishing to study at Acadia University, Canada. Any undergraduate student of business administration can apply for a scholarship through this Bursary. #8 MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program for African Countries

MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program is designed to provide support for education of young students, especially from Africa to lead change and have positive impact on society. #9 Civil Society Leadership Awards

CLSA or Civil Society Leadership Awards provide scholarships for students from Africa to pursue their Master’s Degree in a specific area at its partner universities. In order to be eligible for the scholarship, students must demonstrate academic and professional excellence as well as a deep commitment to bringing about positive change in society. The scholarship covers travel costs, tuition fees, monthly stipend, insurance, academic material fund, and pre-academic preparation through summer schools. #10: Islamic Development Bank Scholarships

Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) provides scholarships for students from its member countries and Muslim communities worldwide. Sudan is one of the member countries and so, Sudanese students can also avail of these scholarships. The scholarships are provided for undergraduate and graduate programs both in various universities across the world. Specific majors are covered under this scholarship program. These scholarships are part of the bank’s developmental initiatives taken to foster the exchange of knowledge and technology between member countries.
