USA Peace Scholarships by Rotary Foundation 2024
The applications for the Rotary Peace Fellowships for the class of 2024-2025 in the USA will be open applications for all international students from February 1, 2023, and will application submission window will close on May 15, 2023.
Now is the right time for you to learn what documents you will need for the Rotary scholarship application and then get prepared accordingly. Each year, Rotary awards up to 130 fully-funded fellowships for dedicated leaders from around the world to study at one of our peace centers.

Through academic training, practice, and global networking opportunities, the Rotary Peace Centers program develops the capacity of peace and development professionals or practitioners to become experienced and effective catalysts for peace. The Rotary fellowships cover tuition and fees, room and board, round-trip transportation, and all internship and field-study expenses.
About Rotary Peace Fellowship 2024
Since the program began in 2002, the Rotary Peace Centers have trained more than 1,300 fellows who now work in more than 115 countries. Many serve as leaders in governments, NGOs, the military, education, law enforcement, and international organizations like the United Nations and the World Bank.
The Rotary Peace Fellowship is designed for leaders with work experience in peace and development. Our fellows are committed to community and international service and the pursuit of peace. Each year, The Rotary Foundation awards up to 150 Rotary fellowships for master’s degrees and 80 for certificate studies at premier universities.
Programs Available Under Rotary Scholarship Program
#1 Master’s degree programs
Accepted candidates study peace and development issues with research-informed teaching and a diverse student body. The programs last 15 to 24 months and include a two- to three-month field study, which participants design themselves.
#2 Professional development certificate program
During the one-year program, experienced peace and development professionals with diverse backgrounds gain practical skills to promote peace within their communities and across the globe. Fellows complete field studies and they also design and carry out social change initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria for Rotary Peace Fellowships 2024
The ideal candidate is academically strong, has a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and has work experience in peace and development. Candidates need to demonstrate a commitment to peace and conflict resolution, be able to undertake extensive reading and discussion in the pursuit of knowledge and be able to participate actively within a diverse cohort of students.
After the program, candidates should be willing to share their own work and experience, stay in touch with peace fellows in their region, and maintain strong connections with Rotary members.
Master’s degree candidates must also:

- Be proficient in English
- Have a bachelor’s degree
- Have a strong commitment to cross-cultural understanding and peace as shown through professional and academic achievements and personal or community service
- Potential for leadership
- Have at least three years of full-time experience in peace or development work
You are not eligible if you are an active Rotary member, or employee of a Rotary club, Rotary International, or other Rotary entity. Rotary Peace Fellows who have completed the certificate program must wait three years to apply for the master’s degree program.
Application Deadline for 2024 Rotary Fellowship: May 15, 2023
Rotary peace foundation is now accepting applications for the 2023-24 Rotary Peace Fellowship program. Candidates have until May 15, 2023, to submit applications to their applications.
