1# NORAM Scholarships

NORAM or The Norway-America Association provides scholarships to American students in order to financially support their studies in Norway. The main aim is to promote studies in areas of mutual interest for Norway and America. Norway Scholarships are provided to students based on need. A certain amount is granted through this scholarship based on the research subject, objective, and length of stay of students in Norway.

2# Erasmus+ Scholarships Program

This provides scholarships and funding for higher education for students from programs or partner countries. Norway is one of the program countries of Erasmus+. Through the program, students have the option of support in studies abroad in any of the partner or program countries. The period of the program ranges from 3 to 12 months but students can benefit from the program multiple times.

However, students have to apply through the higher education institute of their home country for enrolling in the study abroad program of Erasmus+. 3# Norwegian-Russian Scholarships

The former is for students with International Baccalaureate Diploma and covers 100% tuition fees while the latter is for students who have completed upper secondary school and covers 50% tuition fees.

Both are meant for international students of Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Analytics. Furthermore, at the master’s level, there are many scholarships to finance tuition fees and living expenses. Some of these cover the cost fully while others provide partial coverage of the costs. 5# High North Fellowship Program

This program offers scholarships in Norway for students from Canada, Russia, South Korea, the US, and Japan. These are meant to support students who want to come to Norway as part of their studies. Their institute must have an agreement with a higher education institute in Norway. The program is for bachelor’s and master’s level students but Ph.D. students can also apply and come as research fellows.

The duration of the scholarship is one to two semesters and students are required to stay in Norway for at least four months. Students can choose from specific universities and areas that are part of the program. Under the program, students get a monthly stipend and travel grant. Plus, they are not required to pay tuition fees.
